Il LP di esordio dei White Stripes – eponimo – uscì nel 1999. Per celebrare questo ventennale, Jack White (tramite la propria label Third Man) pubblicherà un box speciale che integra e accompagna l’album originale.
Attenzione però: si tratta di un’uscita facente parte del programma su abbonamento “Vault”, quindi per avere il disco occorre iscriversi: non sarà, infatti, disponibile sul mercato in nessuna altra maniera.
Questa uscita è stata battezzata The White Stripes XX. Comprende varie outtake inedite tratte dalle session di registrazione, il LP Live At The Ritz – Raleigh, NC – 09/26/99, un DVD con immagini di due concerti in Michigan del 1999 e un libro di 24 pagine con foto rare o inedite. Il tutto in una custodia rigida di cartone.
